Who is pretending to be you?

Find registered domains that look like yours: typos, look-alike characters, other endings and extra words. Criminals use them for phishing and fake invoices.

Typos

Letters left out, doubled, swapped or replaced by the key next to them: the mistakes people make when typing your name.

Look-alike characters

rn instead of m, 0 instead of o, 1 instead of l: differences you hardly see in an email.

Other domain endings

Your name with .net, .shop, .online, .nl, .de and other popular endings.

Extra words

Your name with login, secure, support, pay and similar words that phishing sites like to use.

Website and email

For every registered look-alike: does it have a website, and can it send and receive email?

Phishing blocklists

Whether a look-alike is already listed as a phishing site.

Questions

Why does this matter?
Criminals register domains that look like yours to send fake invoices to your customers or to copy your website. The sooner you know, the sooner you can warn people or have the domain taken down.
Does a registered look-alike mean someone is attacking me?
No. Many belong to other companies, are parked or were registered by you. Look at the ones with email or a website you don’t recognise.
How do you find them?
We generate a few hundred variations of the name and look them up in public DNS. We don’t visit the websites.
